GUIDANCE ON FAMILY MEMBERSHIP CATEGORY

Family membership is designed for families all living in the same house. It provides for up to two full – adult – members plus any number of children. The adult members will be parents or guardians of the children and the children will either be direct descendants i.e. sons/daughters or will be dependent on the adults for their day to day care. This would include adopted, fostered and stepchildren who rely directly on the adult members for their day to day care.

It does not mean nephews and nieces, grandchildren, friends of the family etc. where the adult(s) and children live at different addresses and the adults are not responsible for the day to day care of the children. E.g Uncle/Aunt or grandparent who lives at a different address to the junior members. In this case, the adult would need to purchase a full membership and the children individual junior memberships.
